Enjoy this snippet of the 2025 Mother/Daughter Retreat!
She sent me a voice note after the retreat to share what happened for her.
Listen to her story. This is what SACRED REST sounds like. 🧘🏾♀️👑💜
Listen as Lisa shares her reflections and encouragement to those searching for a better way to finally choose REST 🧘🏾
Because just as she stated. You deserve it and remember, rest is a divine gift and requirement.
Give your body, mind and soul what it needs.
Just because you take vacations doesn’t mean you’re rested.” Whew. Sis said that, and she was right.
Tionna came to the Sacred Rest Retreat thinking she just needed a break but she left realizing she needed a rhythm.
Her words: “I learned I’m overworked. I don’t breathe properly. But when I finally did, I felt lighter… like the weight lifted off me.”
This is what happens when you stop performing and start practicing rest.
Angela is that get-it-done woman — a giver, a healer, a full-schedule queen. Three, sometimes four clients a day.
But this day? She chose different.
“I know better. So today, I only saw two.”
She said no to packing her schedule…
And yes to protecting her peace.
Because more isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s just more.
Her retreat day wasn’t “time off” — it was a reminder: boundaries aren’t selfish, they’re sacred.
If your body’s whispering, “I need a minute…” don't ignore it, schedule a session today.
Shae is a wife, mother, works full-time, and helps run a BBQ business that grinds six, sometimes seven days a week.
But on November 8th?
She chose herself.
“I said no to the food trailer today so I could say YES to rest. This is my day.”
Rest isn’t something you “earn” when life slows down.
It’s something you claim while it’s still loud.
What would you have to say no to so you can say YES to your healing?
Yasin hadn’t taken a “me day” in twenty years. Twenty. And before we clap for that, let’s call out the system that sold her that as normal.
She’s a wife, a mom of toddlers, a college grad, an Army vet, and she’s been holding everyone else down. Then she finally said, “Wait… what about me?”
Her saying yes to herself meant carving out some me time, and that’s not selfish — that’s survival. That’s a woman choosing not to wait another twenty years to breathe. She walked into the session saying, “This is the start of a good trend for me.”
If your spirit just whispered “that’s me,” then it’s time. Your body’s been asking. Your life’s been demanding it. Schedule a 1:1 session today!
