Still wondering if this is really for you? Start here. These questions will help you decide your next right step.
Sacred rest is intentional, God-centered rest for your whole self—body, mind, and spirit. It’s not a quick escape or a one-hour pampering session.
My work blends rest education, nervous system support, sound healing, gentle reflection, and spiritual grounding so you don’t just feel better for a day—you begin to build a rest rhythm you can carry into real life.
Therapy helps you process. Vacations help you pause. Sacred rest teaches you how to live differently.
Her Jewel & Her Crown is centered on the rest and healing of Black women and women who carry a lot—emotionally, spiritually, and in their families and communities. The language, style, and culture are rooted in that experience.
All women who can honor that focus and space are welcome. My work is faith-centered, but not pushy or performative. You don’t have to be a church girl to feel at home here. All are welcome as long as you respect the purpose, values, and tone of the space.
Sound healing (or sound therapy) uses soothing sounds and vibrations—like bowls, chimes, drums, voice and music—to help your body shift out of “fight, flight, freeze” and into a more regulated, rested state.
The benefits can include:
In a 1:1 or 2-person session, you’ll arrive, settle into a cozy rest setup (table, floor nest, hammock, or zero-gravity chair), and we’ll start with a simple grounding and intention. You stay fully clothed while I create a gentle soundscape around you with bowls and other instruments.
Your only job is to breathe and receive. This is not a performance. For me, this work is a PRAYformance—a prayerful, sacred offering where I hold space before God on your behalf while your body and nervous system finally get a chance to exhale.
You’re not the only one who was taught to put rest at the bottom of the list—after bills, after kids, after crisis. We’ll pay for the emergency, the breakdown, the medication… but not the care that could have prevented it. (Ask me how I know!)
Investing in sacred rest isn’t about “treating yourself.”
It’s about:
You’re not just paying for an hour of quiet. You’re investing in a more regulated, present, and sustainable version of yourself. And that version of you changes how you parent, partner, work, serve, and lead.
My work is deeply faith-centered. I believe rest is holy, not optional, and I treat every session as a sacred assignment, not just an appointment on the calendar.
Before sessions and retreats, I pray over the space, the women attending, and the work we’re about to do. I ask God for wisdom, discernment, and protection—for you and for me. The way I choose sounds, words, and practices is shaped by my relationship with God and by a desire to honor Him, not random “energy.”
For me, sound healing is a PRAYformance—not a show, but a prayerful offering. I’m not calling on other spirits; I’m asking the Holy Spirit to meet us in the stillness and help your body experience the peace you’ve been praying for.
I won't do anything that conflicts with my faith and would not ask you to do anything that conflicts with your faith. If something doesn’t sit right with you, we talk about it and adjust. Your alignment with God during the session is the priority.
Most people experience sound healing as deeply calming and supportive, but every body is different. Bowls can be placed on the body, around the body, or not used at all—we decide together based on your comfort and health history. It’s also important to know: sound is a tool I use, not the thing that drives the whole session.
I create holy resting spaces first. That means if you come in and say,
“Dr. Lee, I just want to pray, set an intention, and take a nap,”
then that is the session.
We might use very gentle or minimal sound—or none at all—if that’s what your body is asking for. You do not have to “take in” the full sound portion to have a powerful, restorative experience. We follow your nervous system, not a script.
Your comfort, safety, and alignment with God matter more to me than doing things the trendy way.
You’re not just paying for “a couple hours together.” You’re investing in:
For years, rest work has been priced like an afterthought—stuck at the bottom of the investment list. My pricing reflects the true value and depth of this work, while still staying fair and non-extractive.
If you’re unsure whether a group experience or retreat fits your budget, book a call and we’ll walk through options together.
We’ll start with a short interest call where I learn about your group—who they are, what they’re carrying, and what you want them to walk away with. From there, I’ll recommend a format:
You’ll receive a clear proposal with session outline, timing, and investment. The goal is to create an experience that supports your people and respects your organizational reality.
All of that is normal. Falling asleep, tearing up, feeling emotions rise, or noticing how hard it is to slow down—those are all signs your nervous system is responding.
This is not a space where you have to prove you’re “good at resting.” You are not being graded.
And if your mind just will not get quiet? You’re not broken. I’ll guide you through a couple of simple techniques during your session to give your thoughts somewhere gentle to land, so your body can still experience rest even when your brain is busy.
Think of it like this:
If you’re not sure where to start, that’s exactly what the call is for. We’ll talk about what you’re carrying, what your capacity and budget look like this season, and choose the option that makes the most sense for you right now—without pressure or shame.
